Refund & Chargeback Policy

Everything you need to know about refunds, disputes, and chargebacks before you buy.

1. General Refund Policy

All beat licenses are delivered as instant digital downloads. Because audio files cannot be physically returned and access cannot be revoked once downloaded, we do not offer refunds once download access has been granted. Please preview beats carefully and review the license terms before purchasing.

Covered

  • Duplicate charges refunded within 14 days.
  • Corrupt or incomplete files replaced within 14 days.
  • Beat still listed as available after an Exclusive purchase (full refund or replacement).

Not Covered

  • Change of mind after download.
  • Purchased the wrong license tier (you may upgrade instead).
  • Did not read the license terms before buying.

2. Refunds by License Tier

Basic License — No refunds after the MP3 file has been downloaded. If you experience a technical issue (corrupt file, wrong beat delivered), contact support within 14 days with your order receipt for a replacement or store credit.

WAV License — No refunds after download. Corrupt or incomplete WAV files will be replaced within 14 days. Duplicate charges are refunded automatically when reported.

Unlimited License — No refunds after the full archive (WAV, MP3, and trackout stems) has been downloaded. Missing stems or corrupt archives are replaced within 14 days.

Exclusive License — No refunds after contract execution and file delivery. If the beat is not removed from the store within one business day of your purchase, you are entitled to a full refund or a replacement beat of equal value.

3. Chargeback Policy

A chargeback (disputing a transaction with your bank or card issuer) should be a last resort. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in immediate license revocation and account suspension. We take fraud seriously and cooperate fully with payment processors during investigations.

Before You File a Chargeback

1. Check your email for your order receipt and download links.

2. Review this refund policy to confirm your situation is not already covered.

3. Contact support with your order number and a description of the issue.

4. Allow up to 3 business days for a response before escalating.

What Happens After a Chargeback

  • The license associated with the disputed payment is immediately suspended pending resolution.
  • If the chargeback is resolved in our favor, the license is reinstated.
  • If the chargeback is resolved in your favor, the license is permanently revoked and files must be deleted.
  • Repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account ban and blacklisting from future purchases.

4. Fraud Prevention

We use industry-standard fraud detection through Stripe and monitor transactions for suspicious activity. Orders flagged for fraud may be held for manual review. If we cannot verify the legitimacy of a transaction within 24 hours, the order will be canceled and refunded automatically.

Prohibited Activity

  • Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods.
  • Purchasing with the intent to distribute files without a valid license.
  • Initiating chargebacks as a substitute for requesting a refund.
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent purchase limits.

5. Contact & Resolution Timeline

Most refund and dispute requests are resolved within 3 business days. Complex cases (e.g., Exclusive contract disputes) may take up to 7 business days.

  • 14 days — Window to report duplicate charges or technical issues.
  • 3 days — Average response time for refund inquiries.
  • 7 days — Maximum resolution time for complex disputes.
